Vacation Rentals

We strive to provide the maximum experience for our vacation renters. Since we are a company motivated by the conservation of nature, we have designed a community around nature. Our vacation rentals are situated in the heart of mother nature in the Ocala National Forrest. With forests making up the back yard, and outdoor activities in and around the community, staying at Sherwood in the Forrest is more then just a vacation it’s a destination getaway in Central Florida with all the comforts you could want at your finger tips. Our homes feature sleeping accommodations for up to 12 people. For specials or groups of 50 or more, please contact us at info@sifFLA.com. A full kitchen and cook out station outside allow guests to feel as though they are staying in their own personal home, not a hotel. Families can enjoy reconnecting over dinner at the end of a fun filled day of horseback riding, fishing, hiking, ATV riding, or any other activity they want to enjoy in the surrounding area. Reservation and Rental Agreement

MINIMUM STAY:

There is a two night minimum stay on all bookings with us. Some holiday and other peak season weekends require a 3 or 4 night minimum stay. Please see our rates calendars to view these dates. Any online reservations made which violate the minimum night stay will not be processed.

PAYMENT:

50% of the reservation total will be charged to your credit card at the time your reservation is made. The remainder of your balance is due and will be automatically charged to your credit card 10 days prior to your arrival. Charges onto your credit cards are effective as per the above instances. We do not hold cabins with a credit card without charging the card.

The card used to make your reservation will be requested at time of check in so please ensure you have the correct card on you. If the owner of the card will not be present at the time of check in, they will need to provide our check in desk with a signed authorization letter for the person checking in stating they authorize that person to use their card. This letter must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of a driver's license or id card and a copy of the credit card - both sides. This letter may be faxed in advance to our check in desk, mailed to us or hand delivered, but we must receive it prior to check in.

All reservations will apply a $35.00 non refundable damage waiver fee, in lieu of a damage deposit. See full reservation and rental agreement for details. Processing fees may be applied if reservation is cancelled.

CANCELLATIONS:

Any cancelled reservation is subject to our non-refund policy. We offer recommend to our guests that they purchase travelers insurance through VacationRentalInsurance.com. In lieu of forfeiture, Sherwood in the Forrest, at their discretion, may offer guests the option of rescheduling the reservation at a later date with the following rules applied:

1. The new reservation is at the published rate for the new dates

2. The vacation rental home must be managed by Sherwood in the Forrest

3. The extended reservation change must be made no later than 30days prior to the original date of arrival

4. The change must be approved by the management of Sherwood in the Forrest

5. The guest must book the new reservation at the time of cancellation and the same cabin must be booked

CHECK IN:

No person under the age of 21 will be allowed to check in. If anyone under 21 reserves a cabin without our knowledge, they will not be permitted to check in and will not receive a refund. At check in, we will need a copy if the credit card used, as well as your driver's license. Your signature will be needed on our rental agreement and credit card authorization. Check in time is no earlier than 3:00pm local standard time no exceptions, unless other prior arrangements are made. No one can pick up a key or lock box combination except the renter, unless other prior arrangements have been made.

CHECK OUT:

Check out time is no later than 11:00am local time the only exception will be extended check out time for a fee of $75.00. Extended checkout will only extend check out time until 1:00pm.

PETS and SMOKING:

No pets are allowed in any Sherwood in the Forrest vacation rentals.

All our vacation rentals are SMOKE FREE. No smoking is permitted inside the vacation rental homes. Smokers are urged to only smoke outside. Charges will be assessed based on damages for any deviation.

SIGNATURES:

Guest understands this policy and the reservation confirmation must be signed and returned to our office within 72 hours of receipt of these documents, or your vacation rental home selection will not be guaranteed. We cannot confirm bookings, dates and/or vacation rental homes until all signed paperwork is received.
