Located in the breathtaking Ocala National Forest in the heart of Central Florida you will find over 100 miles of trails and thousands of acres for your riding experience.

If you have a hearty frontier spirit and are ready to hit the trail, come take pleasure in some wholesome outdoor fun at Sherwood in the Forrest. You can bring your own ride or rent one from nearby J.N.B. Horse Haven Farm. Riders are matched with their level of experience. You will be greeted by local Trail Guides, who are committed to providing you with a safe and memorable excursion within the scenic forest, under oak hammocks and marked trails. Saddle up and ride as your guide takes you to remote, unique and secluded areas of the forest, not often seen, where you will get “up-close and personal” with the Central Florida’s diverse flora and fauna. You will learn about the history and legends of the area from knowledgeable trail guides as you direct your horse through the different natural communities found in this Central Florida Outdoor Experience.

These fun and informative horseback riding adventures start at 9am and 11 am daily. And the adventure begins at Sherwood in the Forrest, just minutes from the Orlando area.
